Paramount ShowOffice Design, Fit Out & Furniture

Our Managing Director, Nigel Roberts, gave us a challenging but concise brief; to create a headquarters for the business which demonstrated our thinking on workspace design.

Functionally it needed to embrace our approach towards promoting collaboration, communication and enabling creativity across all teams, and also house a growing team of professions.

Underlying the core brief it needed to be delivered under budget and on time.

We rose to the challenge!

 

Showoffice

We created the Paramount ShowOffice, a phrase we created to represent both functions of the space; a headquarters for our staff to work from, and an office that demonstrated our approach to office design, as well as examples of the latest modern office furniture.

 

Structure

As you enter the building a concrete stairway leads to the ShowOffice, with white, patterned wall coverings and contrasting black sculptural lighting, giving guests the immediate impression of an industrial feel with natural light flooding in through floor to ceiling glazing. Exposed structural steelwork, with a huge lighting raft, 12m long and 25m2, with over 750 LEDs providing a ceiling of white light along the central ‘runway’ of the office, interspersed with meeting and hot desking facilities.

Work

Within the working areas, key zones have been designed for concentration, group brainstorming and multi-areas for collaboration, with online & offline presentations supported by the latest technologies and AV kit.

 

Play

However, it’s not all work, a multi-use gym, large lounge and outdoor spaces have been designed to enable staff to enjoy the odd latte or juice!
