Fit out

When it comes to an office fit-out, there are basically two types of projects; CAT A and CAT B

Whilst there is no standard industry definition for these two types of projects, in simple terms, a CAT A is the skeleton of the building, it’s the shell and core, which in many buildings really sets the theme of how the building looks, feels and breathes.

Our dedicated mechanical and electrical department brings together the skeleton with its internal organs; the way the building ventilates, heats and cools itself. How the Building Management System connects it to the ‘brain’. And how the lighting brings life in to even its darkest corners.

We have a history of bringing old buildings back to life with a considered approach to CAT A, taking into account the age, listed status and practicalities of how to make these wonderful, old spaces operate in the most sustainable way for the next 30-40 years.

This is for clients looking for a total aesthetic and functional overhaul of the internal workspace.

Our experienced and helpful team is here to deliver a stress-free office fit-out to the highest standards, with minimum disruption to you and your business.

Our end-to-end service can handle everything from mobilisation and site set-up to handover and aftercare. With excellent feedback from some of the UK’s leading organisations, we pride ourselves on making complex, fast-paced office fit-out projects look easy.

We can also offer a full turnkey solution thanks to our in-house team of office design, M&E and furniture specialists.

Keeping costs in check

It doesn’t matter if your new office design has been created by our team or a third-party, if you have a specific budget for your office fit-out, we’ll work with the design team to meet it.

Adapting elements like the choice of finish and materials can help us to achieve this. We’ll then submit a cost plan proposal and monitor any changes that might affect it.

Agreeing project timelines

Once we’ve been given the go-ahead to start on an office fit-out, we can agree timescales and establish the key delivery milestones. Then once the completion date is confirmed, the planning begins.

We’ll agree a mobilisation period and decide when activity on site will take place in order to meet agreed deadlines. And, by identifying critical, but often overlooked items like IT infrastructure, phones and broadband, we can ensure that your office will be up and running seamlessly in plenty of time.

Dedicated project management

Throughout the office fit-out, you’ll be allocated a dedicated project manager and site manager. They’ll be there for the entire journey from setting up to practical completion, move management and beyond, if you need them.

Connecting clients with all onsite activity, they will monitor all progress. Assessing quality control, managing orders, and evaluating any changes.

And if the brief is revised for any reason, they can feed this back to the design team, amend costs accordingly and identify new critical paths. Allowing you to concentrate on your business.

Our site-based teams are the front line of our business and often the people our clients don’t want to let go of when it comes to handover. Which is testament to just how integral to your team our people can become. But there’s no need to worry, we send them back every few months to make sure everything is working just as the day they left.

All we ask is that you stock up the biscuit tin!

Paramount were fantastic! They elevated our design, managed timescales and communicated any issues throughout. With their input we now have a first-class office, which both clients and staff can enjoy. We have been delighted with the feedback received since opening the new office.
