The Brief

Deliver a multi-million pound refurbishment project which would transform an existing office block into a Grade A workspace with sustainability and efficiency at its core.

The Solution

Inside the building the refurbishment embraced some of the latest in sustainable building practices with new energy efficient M&E systems implemented to ensure lower running costs.

Whilst outside a number of additional features and facilities, which added to its new, more environmentally-friendly character of the site.

Extensive bicycle facilities, including 98 cycle bays along with a new shower block have been added in support of green travel policy, helping cut fuel emissions and travel costs as well as boosting employee health and well being.

Multiple electric vehicle charging points have also been fitted to the upgraded car parks.

The large package of exterior works included external landscaped break out and seating areas to the rear courtyard to encourage workers to meet, collaborate and relax outdoors, further enhancing health and well-being in the workplace.
