Following our big announcement about Andrew Roberts taking the ergonomic office throne as Managing Director, we thought we’d update you on a few more key promotions and introduce you to our team of new directors. 2015 was a big year for us at Paramount and, after more than 25 years’ in the industry, we’re proud to be continuously growing and strengthening our team.
As a result, we’re now in a position where we can restructure our senior staff and recognise the accomplishments of some important people in the business. We’re also strengthening our senior management with two new directors, both of whom have significant experience and some unique skills.
L-R: Paul Jones, Helen Bartlett, Richard Jones, Steve Mullis, Andrew Williams
Some new faces
First up is Andrew Williams who’s joined us as our new Finance Director. Having previously held positions with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now PwC), Andrew certainly knows what he’s doing. He brings with him a wealth of experience in financial and strategic management.
Next up is Paul Jones who will be our new Mechanical and Electrical Director. Paul isn’t a stranger to the Paramount team as he’s worked with us as a contractor for more than a decade. Paul’s senior roles within engineering companies mean that he’s worked on a broad range of public and private sector projects. As a result, he brings a vast experience in both traditional and modular building services solutions to the team.
Some familiar faces
In terms of promotions, we’re delighted to announce that our very own Helen Bartlett has been promoted from Design Manager to the position of Design Director. Helen has been a key member of the Paramount team since 1998 and originally joined the Management Team in 2013. Over the years, Helen has been responsible for designing several of our major projects including General Dynamics, the new Cardiff and Vale College, PHS Group, the Intellectual Property Office and Peacocks’ head office.
Our Project Manager Richard Jones now takes on the role of Projects Director, having joined Paramount in 2008. He has overseen projects for the likes of KPMG in Cardiff and Southampton, Conduit 118 118 in Cardiff and Zurich, Virgin Media in Covent Garden and Hammersmith as well as the framework agreement with the Office for National Statistics, which Paramount have retained for the past six years.
Last but certainly not least; Steve Mullis has been promoted to Head of Corporate Services. Steve joined us way back in 2001 and quickly rose up the ranks to become a member of our management team in 2003 before taking the role of Company Secretary in 2015.
A new direction
Our new Managing Director, Andrew, said, “I am pleased to announce these new appointments. The promotions that we have made are just reward for the hard work that each individual has put in over the years that they have been with Paramount and the contribution that they have made to our success.
“I am also delighted to welcome Andrew and Paul to Paramount and look forward to working with them to help shape the strategic direction of the business and to continue to deliver world-class office design and fit-out projects for our clients.”
We’re excited to see what the future has in store for us under this strengthened senior management team!
